Bio
Wesley Wong

On June 5th 1990 I was born in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. It wasn’t until high school I started playing music. My parents bought me my first bassguitar on my 15th birthday. I took lessons and quickly joined bands and started playing in jamsessions. At that time, my playing was mainly influenced by soul and jazz musicians like James Jamerson, Miles Davis and Marvin Gaye.
Towards the end of 2007 I realized I can also make music on a computer. Technology was already a passion of mine. I quickly learned how to compose, record and produce my own music. This was all through internet articles and trial and error.
In 2008, I started studying Composition & Music Technology at the Utrecht School of the Arts. I learned about electronic music, composition, programming, acoustics, sound design, synthesis and music production. The focus of my compositions shifted from acoustic music to combining electronic and acoustic sounds. I also started doing more projects. Such as music for games and short movies.
Despite that, my main focus is on recording and studio technology.
